Veterans Financial Assistance Information

Let us begin by saying "Thank You" for your service. Because of you we are able to live in and build the best nation in the world!

It's Our Duty

Those who serve in the United States Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard) should be honored and rewarded for their dedication and commitment. At MWI, we consider ourselves a military-friendly school, and we feel it is our duty to help make the transition to your civilian career as smooth as possible. The MWI Admission Representatives do this by helping you with your applications for military educational benefits to help you to pay for school, if eligible.

Working together to benefit you

In addition to state tuition assistance, and scholarships, military educational benefits may also be available if you or someone of whom you are a dependent has served in the military.

  • GI Bill® and MyCAA programs are available for eligible veterans, active duty and dependents.

  • Tuition can be paid through the Post 9/11 GI Bill® or the Montgomery GI Bill® for eligible military members including active duty, reserves and National Guard members, active-duty spouses and dependent children of active duty service members, military retirees, and honorably discharged veterans.

For more information on GI Bill® benefits, please visit the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

If you are on active duty, in the reserves or National Guard, a military veteran, or spouse or dependent child of an active duty service member, contact an MWI Admissions Representative (800-667-5885) for more information about welding programs and scholarship opportunities.
